A clear, telehealth-first path into Ohio's medical cannabis program
GreaterHilltopCannabis.Clinic is an independent directory and telehealth scheduling platform connecting patients with Ohio-licensed physicians for medical cannabis certifications. We're centered on Greater Hilltop, but Ohio's certification process works the same way statewide. We are not a medical practice, dispensary, or pharmacy; we connect patients with qualified physicians and explain the certification and state registration process clearly.
Every physician on our platform is an MD or DO licensed in Ohio, holding an active Certificate to Recommend from the State Medical Board.
Telehealth visits happen on HIPAA-compliant platforms, with a genuine medical evaluation rather than a simple questionnaire. Your health information stays confidential throughout.
Every certification follows Ohio Revised Code Chapter 3796 and current Division of Cannabis Control requirements.
Ohio's program works in two steps. First, an Ohio-licensed physician with an active Certificate to Recommend evaluates you and, if you have a qualifying condition, issues a recommendation. Ohio maintains a list of named qualifying conditions — cancer, PTSD, epilepsy, and chronic or intractable pain among them — that has expanded several times since the program's 2019 launch. Second, your physician submits that recommendation to the state, and you complete registration through the Ohio Patient & Caregiver Registry, currently a $0.01 fee. Your card is valid for one year and requires proof of Ohio residency. Full details live at the Ohio Division of Cannabis Control.
GreaterHilltopCannabis.Clinic is an advertising platform. Ohio-licensed physicians pay for patient connection and marketing services. Those commercial relationships are disclosed in our Advertising Disclosure and play no role in any physician's clinical decisions. Questions? Use the contact form on our Terms & Policies page.
